Welcome to The Poker Gods! My name is Kasey Orr, and I’m passionate about poker, competition, and creating unforgettable experiences at the felt. My journey into poker began like many others—with a deck of cards, in the backroom of a janky casino and countless late nights spent playing for fun. Little did I know, those early games would ignite a lifelong love for the game and eventually lead me to build The Poker Gods.

The Origins

I discovered poker after i wandered into "Aces Saloon" in Arlington, WA after just turning 21. I had walked in on a Friday after work and saw 2 tables in the back and asked "whats going on back there". The dealer said, "50 dollar poker tournament"; so I grabbed my chips left the Blackjack table and sat over at the game and hear "Sir you have to buy in first". thats how raw poker was to me. but over the course of the ensuing tournament I was hooked, I mean I remember getting yelled at for Playing 85 Suited!

Over the years, I dove deeper into the world of poker, studying the game, competing in tournaments (winning my first ever mid-major), and honing my craft. What started as a hobby became a passion, and before long, I found myself playing in Las Vegas at the WSOP and Travelling to Circuit events. These experiences shaped my understanding of the game and reinforced my desire to share it with others.

The Birth of The Poker Gods

The Poker Gods was born from my vision to create something bigger than myself—a community and platform that celebrates the thrill of poker. I wanted to build a space where players of all skill levels could come together, compete, and push themselves to become better players. I wanted to create something that gave back to the poker community and made players feel like rockstars again! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or someone just learning the basics, The Poker Gods is here to inspire, challenge, and support you.

What we Believe

At its core, poker is about more than winning and losing—it’s about the journey. It teaches discipline, resilience, and the art of reading people. It’s a game that mirrors life: sometimes you’re dealt a tough hand, but how you play it makes all the difference.

Through The Poker Gods, my mission is to:
• Foster Community: Poker is best enjoyed together. We aim to create an inclusive environment where players can connect, share strategies, and grow.
• Elevate the Game: I want to bring professionalism and excitement to every event we sponsor, from casual tournaments to high-stakes showdowns.
• Empower Players: By providing tools, resources, and opportunities, I hope to inspire others to embrace the game and unlock their potential.

Since launching The Poker Gods, it’s been incredible to see the community grow and thrive.
